What is the turnaround time?
For standard signage ordered through our online process, expect a lead time of 2–3 weeks from order confirmation and final artwork approval. Custom or large-scale bespoke projects may take longer — we’ll give you an accurate timeframe before we begin. If you’re on a tight deadline, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
How do you apply graphics or logos to the signage?
Depending on your chosen signage style, we use different methods:
Vinyl cut graphics using our in-house plotter for simple logos and text.
Digitally printed vinyl for multi-colour designs, gradients, or photographic images.
Laser cut and fabricated lettering for dimensional signage.
All materials are selected to suit indoor or outdoor use, ensuring durability and longevity.
How do you ship signage orders?
We use trusted courier services to deliver your signage safely across New Zealand. Shipping costs and timeframes depend on the size and complexity of the item. You'll receive tracking details once your order is dispatched. For more info, refer to our Shipping & Delivery section in the footer.
Can your signage be used outdoors?
Absolutely. Most of our signage is built for exterior use, using materials like aluminium, acrylic, composites, and weather-resistant finishes. We’ll advise you on the best options to ensure your signage withstands the elements.
What materials do you use?
We work with a variety of materials depending on the signage style:
Aluminium & steel for durable fabricated signs.

Can I change my sign design later?
If you rebrand or want a refresh, we can help update your existing signage where possible — for example, by replacing vinyl graphics or updating panels. For fixed fabricated signs, changes may require new components. Just get in touch and we’ll advise the best approach.
How should I provide my logo or artwork?
You can upload your logo or text when placing your order online. Vector files (PDF, AI, EPS) are preferred for the best quality. If you're unsure, flick us an email at zac@zedlab.co.nz and we'll guide you through it.
Do you accept refunds?
Because each sign is custom-made, we don’t offer refunds for change of mind. However, if your signage arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll replace or repair it. Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We also send artwork proofs for approval before production — any changes must be confirmed at that stage.
